Alison Ouellette-Kirby & Noah Kirby
Illuminations & Implications
September 3 – November 19, 2021
Opening Reception September 3, 5-8 PM
Regional wife and husband art team Alison Ouellette-Kirby and Noah Kirby are known for their large-scale, interactive works that marry traditional metal casting, fabrication methods, and language. Illuminations & Implications presents sculptures that deal with the collaborative relationship between the viewer and the imagery presented in the sculptures. In this exhibition, importance is placed on movement, light and shadow, viewer participation, and wordplay.
An opening reception for all of our upcoming exhibitions will be held on Friday, September 3rd, from 5-8 pm, as part of the Foundry Art Centre’s First Fridays. Exhibitions by Alison Ouellette-Kirby and Noah Kirby, Laura Berman, and Mandy Pedigo will be open through November 19th.
