Foundry Art Camp offers children ages 6 to 16 a chance to immerse themselves in creative activities that foster collaboration, enhance artistic abilities, and highlight the powerful role art plays in the world.
Campers will dive into art by exploring the Foundry’s exhibitions, learning about art history, and engaging in discussions with the Foundry’s studio artists. From painting and sculpture to tie-dye and clay work, they’ll create unique pieces to take home and share with loved ones. This hands-on experience across various artistic mediums will inspire and nurture their creative potential.
The Foundry’s week-long, full-day Art Camps are led by skilled art instructors who foster a supportive environment for artistic growth. Campers are grouped by age, with all materials provided. Registration also includes a Camp T-shirt.

June 7-11
ART Lab: The Science of Color
Experiment, explore, and create! Campers will dive into the fascinating world of color through hands-on art projects that explore mixing, blending, shading, patterns, and creative expression. Artists will experiment with a variety of materials and techniques, discovering how colors work together to create mood, movement, and excitement. From bold abstract designs to colorful mixed-media masterpieces, this week is all about curiosity, creativity, and endless possibilities of color! Campers will have an opportunity to tie-dye their camp shirts with blazing colors.
June 14-18
The Sweet life of … art
Treat yourself to a week of deliciously creative fun! In The Sweet Life of … Art, campers will create colorful artwork inspired by candies, cupcakes, ice cream, donuts, and all kinds of sweet treats. Using drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed media, artists will explore vibrant colors, playful designs, and imaginative projects that look good enough to eat. It’s a sugar-filled celebration of creativity - without the sticky fingers!
June 21-26
Mud, Masters, & More
Get your hands dirty and your creativity flowing! Mud, Masters, & More is a week of sculpting, building, and creating with clay and other exciting 3D materials. Campers will learn hand-building techniques, experiment with texture and form, and create imaginative sculptures, functional pieces, and unique works of art. From whimsical creatures to decorative masterpieces, this camp is perfect for artists who love to shape, mold, and create.
June 28 - July 2
Castles & crayons
Journey into a world of imagination where castles tower, dragons soar, and creativity reigns! During Castles & Crayons, artists will design enchanted castles, mythical creatures, magical landscapes, and storybook-inspired masterpieces using a variety of art techniques. Campers will explore drawing, painting, sculpture, mixed media, and more while developing artistic skills and expressing their unique ideas. Whether inspired by knights, princesses, wizards, or fantasy worlds of their own creation, every artist will leave with a collection of magical works of art fit for a kingdom!

Zoo Creations
Roar, soar, and create! During Zoo Creations, campers will explore the amazing world of animals through fun, hands-on art projects. From majestic lions and playful monkeys to colorful birds, reptiles, and underwater creatures, artists will draw, paint, sculpt, and create mixed-media masterpieces inspired by their favorite zoo animals. Campers will experiment with patterns, textures, and vibrant colors while bringing the animal kingdom to life.

Farmer’s Market
Celebrate the beauty of the harvest through art! During Farmer's Market, campers will be inspired by fresh fruits, colorful vegetables, blooming flowers, and life on the farm. Artists will explore drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, and mixed media while creating nature-inspired masterpieces. From baskets overflowing with produce to cheerful garden scenes, this week is full of creativity, color, and appreciation for the natural world. This week campers will have an opportunity to tie-dye their camp shirts.
July 26-30
clay by nature
Connect with the beauty of the natural world through the art of clay! During Clay by Nature, campers will create nature-inspired sculptures and pottery pieces featuring flowers, leaves, animals, insects, and other outdoor wonders. Artists will explore hand-building techniques while experimenting with texture, shape, and form to transform clay into unique works of art. From woodland creations to garden-inspired masterpieces, this week celebrates creativity, craftsmanship, and the amazing details found in nature.
August 3-7
Game On
Ready, set, create! Game On is the perfect camp for artists who love the excitement of games. Campers will design artwork inspired by classic board games, video games, sports, and friendly competition while exploring drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed media. From creating original game pieces and colorful characters to designing imaginative game worlds, each project encourages creativity, problem-solving, and playful fun. Whether you're a gamer, an athlete, or simply love to play, this week is all about bringing your favorite games to life through art! This week campers will have an opportunity to tie-dye their camp shirts.
REFUND / CANCELLATION POLICY
Notice of withdrawal must be sent to mkerans@foundryartcentre.org a minimum of 14 days prior to the start date in order to receive a refund (minus the registration fee of $20). The Foundry will not refund or credit for camps missed due to illness or health, personal schedule conflict, travel, or other reasons. There is not a schedule to allow for students to make-up or attend missed classes. If your camper is unable to attend, please contact the Foundry immediately.
