Come play in the mud at the Foundry Art Centre! In this workshop you’ll create a personalized heartfelt mug using handbuilding methods including slab and pinch. Foundry Education Coordinator Christine Tavares will lead you through the process of creating a uniform slab on which you will personalize with texture and design.  You will then shape your slab into a one-of-a-kind mug and learn how to add a handle.  Mugs will decorate their mugs with glaze, and the fired and finished vessels will be ready for pick-up two to three weeks after the workshop.
