Kansas City-based artist Laura Berman’s show Aggregates explores landscapes, particularly the Flint Hills region of Kansas. Berman’s images are painted and printed onto paper in a series of iterations and layers, evolving and creating entirely new worlds. Her playful, process-driven work reflects the connections between expanses, details within space, and how even the smallest action can create a cascade of events and phenomena.

An opening reception for all of our upcoming exhibitions will be held on Friday, September 3rd, from 5-8 pm, as part of the Foundry Art Centre’s First Fridays. Exhibitions by Alison Ouellette-Kirby and Noah Kirby, Laura Berman, and Mandy Pedigo will be open through November 19th.
