Awards Judge

Jared Minnick is an artist and gallery owner who has been creating art for over 20 years. His works span countless styles, subjects, media, and surfaces. Though primarily an oil painter on canvas, his art journey has included sculpture, found objects, frame restoration, and upcycled materials. The common theme throughout this broad spectrum of work is the use of paint, which he has applied to canvas, wood, a motorcycle, found statues, TVs, guitars, and antique furniture.

In 2019, he created 3art gallery with his wife Amy after rehabbing the space for over two and a half years. Since opening, the gallery has platformed over 60 local visual artists and musicians, and hosted numerous group exhibitions each year. It has become a destination for artists and non-artists alike, developing a supportive community of creators while maintaining a free and welcoming environment to the general public. With 31artGallery as the backdrop, Jared’s eclectic body of work provides an immersive, innovative, and accessible presentation of creating for the sake of creating.
