Come play in the mud at the Foundry Art Centre! In this workshop, you’ll create one or more beautiful ceramic vases using hand-building methods including slab and pinch. Foundry Education Coordinator Christine Tavares will lead you through the process of creating a uniform slab on which you will personalize with texture and design. You will then shape your slab into a one-of-a-kind vase which you can give as a gift (just in time for Mother’s Day), or keep for yourself. Your fired and finished vessel will be ready for pick-up two to three weeks after the workshop.
