This six-week class is for adult students (ages 18+) with basic knowledge of ceramics. In this series, students will continue to build on their foundation of hand building and wheel throwing skills. Students will explore more complex forms as well as advanced surface treatments while continuing to develop their personal artistic style.  It is strongly recommended that students have taken previous clay workshops before registering for this series.

Students will have the opportunity for open studio time during Foundry open hours if needed.  Students will typically complete around 8-10 pieces to fire and glaze.

*A prerequisite of at least one session of “Clay Creations” or “Intermediate Ceramics” is required.  Contact Christine Tavares for more information.

If you need accommodations for this program, please contact the Foundry as soon as you are able.  Please contact Christine Tavares for more information.
