Please note, this is a 2-class workshop. 

In this fascinating teen workshop series, students will work with artist Taylor Marrie as she guides them in creating a one-of-a-kind abstract mirror. After applying foam “clouds,” the mirror will be set aside to dry and Taylor will then lead students in painting exercises that help with confidence in painting and mark making. The mirror will be finished in the second class on Wednesday, February 29 and teens will take their finished creation with them to transform their space at home!

Taylor Marrie is a visual artist based in Saint Louis, Missouri. After graduating from Webster University in 2023, with her BFA in Fine Arts, she was selected as a 2022 Saint Louis Art Fair Emerging Artist. She exhibited in Post-Departure in May of 2023, which ultimately lead to her work at the Foundry Art Centre in St. Charles, Missouri, as a studio artist to further her studio practice, as well as a children's art camp teacher.
