Ceramics Level 1 (Ages 11-17)

Ready to throw down! Students will experience hand building and wheel throwing techniques in this exciting clay class. Primary skills will include pinch, coil, and slab construction, as well as wedging, centering, and pulling a cylinder on the wheel. Students who have experience will work with the instructor to come up with an appropriate lesson to improve their skills. Students will choose their favorite 3-5 pieces to fire and glaze. Pieces will be available for pick-up 2 to 3 weeks later.
