JUROR
Robert S. Davis, Jr. attained his BFA and MA from Stephen F. Austin State and his MFA from OU, teaching at the University of Central Oklahoma directly afterwards. Since 2001 he has received recognition by influential artists such as Paul Moore, MANUAL, Sandy Skoglund, Donald Sultan, and Paul Brach. He continues to exhibit both nationally and internationally, with individual and social class relations being the dominant focus of his art, using materials as metaphors for these issues. This June he will be showing in New York City for the 25th International Juried Exhibition courtesy of Guggenheim Curator, Katherine Brinson. Robert currently lives and works in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. For more information, visit robertdavisjr.com.
