Jessie Schoenrock

Jessie Schoenrock is a California-born, St. Charles-raised creative.

Her work is inspired by everyday feels and functions. Jessie has loved art since she can remember, but as a young person, her pursuit of art was derailed by family drama. As an adult, she’s been able to come home to herself and rediscover her art practice. Jessie’s practice gives her a more centered and lively life. In the last year, her work has been honored at local galleries, featured by local companies, and drank out by handmade mug-lovers everywhere.

Jessie’s business, Rad & Sad Art, is a fresh and functional modern ceramics & digital print brand. 

She loves clay for the way it shows both strength and delicacy. Clay has a willingness to be transformed and occasionally throws a big fit about it. This makes clay work unmistakably human...both Rad & Sad at the same time. 

Jessie’s prints playfully reflect emotions, inclusivity, and the rough and smooth feelings of being human.
